What my dad taught me is that it doesn't matter.
I'm Asian, and I don’t know. It’s like, race has affected me a little bit, where people expect me to do math...but in my opinion, stereotypes exist for a reason. But there are racist people out there. What my dad taught me to do is like it doesn't matter. America is such a great country and even if there are some racist people out there trying to shoot you down. Like, it's not, it’s not enough to prevent your success, like, you can always work around that. So yeah, a lot of it is based on your choices too. Like if a friend makes a racial joke, you can choose to be offended or you can choose to laugh along with them as long as they are not meaning any real harm. So, yeah guys, I don't know what to say, other than that don't let racism interfere with your success, I don't know, but yeah, just be chill.
